Sapphire's Tragic Fall & Rags’ Redemption
Sapphire, once a Hall of Fame-winning mare in the U.S., was discarded after she stopped winning. She ended up with an animal abuser and arrived at the rescue neglected, alongside other mares.
Though in foal, Sapphire tragically aborted due to her poor condition. Rags, a miniature stallion, was kept in a cramped 6'x6' pen and sold to someone without the knowledge to handle him.
Scared and overwhelmed, they surrendered him. After rehab and castration, Rags transformed and is now thriving in a loving home.
